of Charm Sciences, Inc. which was established in 1978. Both Charm Bioengineering,
Inc. and Charm Sciences, Inc. were founded by Dr. Stanley E. Charm.
Charm Bioengineering, Inc. has pioneered the use of High Temperature Short Time (HTST) heat treatment for viral inactivation and sterilization of heat sensitive biological products. The UltraTherm® System embodies patented microwave technology of Charm Bioengineering, Inc.
Dr. Stanley E. Charm is the President and CEO of Charm Sciences, Inc. and Charm Bioengineering, Inc. Dr. Charm is Professor Emeritus at Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. Charm is the author of numerous articles and two books: Blood Flow and Circulation (John Wiley & Sons) and Fundamentals of Food Engineering (AVI Publishing).
